Records and diagnostics
Every document you issue and every check request you start leaves a record. When one fails, the record says what went wrong and what to do next.
Records
Records in the sidebar lists every issuance and check request in the current environment, newest first. Search by document, check or reference, and narrow the list with filters:
| Filter | Narrows to |
|---|---|
| Type | Issuance or Check request |
| Status | The outcome of the flow |
| Issuer, Verifier | One issuer or verifier |
| Document | One document |
| Email status | Records delivered by email, by delivery outcome |
| Period | A date range |
| Started by | One team member |
Operators see Your records instead: only the documents they issued and the checks they ran.
Each issuer's and verifier's Overview shows its recent activity, with a link to Records already filtered to it.
Analytics
Analytics shows issuance and check volume over time. Owners, admins and members can open it; operators can't.
Who sees shared values
A check record can hold the values the holder shared, if LutraID keeps them. In Intermediary mode it never does: the values go to your result endpoint, and the record keeps the outcome and a reference.
| Role | Sees values |
|---|---|
| Owners and admins | Every kept value |
| Everyone else | Only values of checks they started; otherwise metadata only |
Integrations using an API key still receive values.
When a flow fails
A failed record opens with a plain-language explanation and a What to do line, for example:
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| The email didn't reach the customer. The address may be wrong. | Ask for the right address and send a new offer or start a new check |
| The entered information doesn't match what this document needs. | Correct it and send a new offer |
| The document couldn't be signed. | Check the issuer's certificates, then send a new offer |
| Something went wrong on our side. | Ask support and give them the reference |
Where it applies, the record offers Send a new offer or Open the issuer. From an issuance record you can also revoke a document; see Revoke a document.
Flow diagnostics
Under Advanced details, a record can show Flow diagnostics: a sanitized, step-by-step list of backend events for that flow. It includes a Support reference you can copy into a support request instead of describing the failure.
If No diagnostic session recorded appears, the flow may predate diagnostics, diagnostics may be turned off for your installation, or the kept events may have expired. It doesn't mean the flow itself is broken.
To get told about outcomes instead of checking Records, use Webhooks.
